Well, yes, Virginia, most people are, indeed, still stuck in the 4th grade. Or at least they imagine themselves to be. Sigh. It's amazing that someone complained about your chewing ice to your boss, and did not have the backbone to discuss it with you first. Chewing ice??? Really?
I would so delight in thinking up new ways to aggravate these simpletons. You should, too.
